Vehicle Shop Safety (OSHA’s Various Shop Standards)
- It is often overlooked that mechanics are exposed to crushing, caught-between, flying debris, material handling, and chemical hazards. Improper hazard recognition and hazard control implementation can lead to serious accidents and illnesses. This 2-4 hour course provides mechanics with the tools necessary to recognize and mitigate work place hazards.
- Vehicle Shop Safety training covers the following topics: Typical Shop Hazards, Identify Servicing Requirements for Single-Piece and Multi-Piece Rim Wheels, General Requirements for Overhead Shop Cranes, Hoisting Equipment Requirements, Hand and Power Tools, and Industrial Ergonomics.
